The Alpine lodge log cabin is located in picturesque Rhyd-y-Foel near Abergele in Wales and directly overlooks stunning rolling hills and cliffs.

Outside you’ll find a large decked area and lawned garden fully equipped with garden furniture and BBQ making it easy to take in the beautiful views on a Summer evening with ease.

The nearest village to the Alpine Lodge is Rhyd-y-Foel with Colwyn Bay and Abergele only 3.5 miles away. Both of which are ideally situated for a wide variety of outdoor activities, stunning natural beauty spots and historical ancient castles. A pub and shop are a 1.5 miles from the lodge.

The lodge is nestled with 2 other log cabins in their own grounds just on the outskirts of Rhyd-y-Foel.

Alpine Lodge Accommodation

The Alpine Lodge is a beautiful lodge with plenty of space inside and out. You can expect tastefully decorated open plan living as well as a large decked area on the outside.

The bright spacious living area, tastefully decorated in cream and yellow soft furnishings with light wooden accessories and flooring giving you the feel of a bright cosy cottage.

The kitchen set aside from the rest of the living area while still being open plan is decorated to match the rest of the living space and includes a double gas oven, gas hobs, microwave and fridge/freezer offering you all the amenities you need for a relaxing holiday.

There is also furniture and a BBQ outside on the decked area overlooking stunning mountainside views.

The 2 ground floor bedrooms offer you a comfortable place to stay. With one double bedroom with a fitted wardrobe and one twin bedroom.
There is also fully equipped shower room with shower, basin and WC.

Along with LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) central heating throughout the lodge there is also a gas fire in the sitting area which is also fully equipped with a Freeview TV, DVD player, CD player and Wi-Fi to help you thoroughly enjoy your stay.

Included with the rental is all fuel and power as well as bed linen and towels. There is off road parking for 2 cars.

Alpine Lodge Surrounding Area

The village of Rhyd-y-Foel is only 1 mile away from beautiful sandy beaches and only 3.5 miles away from the towns of Abergele and Colwyn Bay both of which are renowned for their enormous beaches and coastal activities.

Both coastal towns Abergele and Colwyn bay provide a range of attractions and activities that will appeal to people of all ages. There are also a wide variety of shops and restaurants to choose from whilst you visit the area.

In Colwyn Bay you will find the famous Welsh Mountain Zoo.

There a wide variety of water sports available throughout the area for those who are looking for a little bit of excitement whilst still surrounded by stunning scenery.

For those who love hiking there are some beautiful trails including Offa’s Dyke pathway and Clwydian Hill range which are both nearby.

The Victorian town of Llandudno not only offers great shops and restaurants but also a dry ski slope and a cable car which rides over the Great Orme and is only a short drive from the Alpine Lodge.

And if it’s history you are looking for then you can always visit the beautiful castles of Bodelwyddan, Rhuddlan and Conwy are close by and worth a visit.
