Redwood Lodge is nestled in the beautiful Tamar Valley, in secluded, tranquil grounds. Part of the many Eastcott Lodges it offers a wonderful location to relax and revel in this stunning, peaceful area of the country.
Perfect for family getaways, the park boasts acres of safe playing space, including a designated play area, as well as lovely woodland. It is home to lots of wildlife, such as squirrels and deer. Plus, there are even some birds of prey to spot. The park is also great for fishing enthusiasts, with a fenced off lake stocked with tench, carp and rudd. It is perfect for whiling away the hours enjoying the tranquil rural surroundings.
The spacious Eastcott lodges offer comfortable cabins have been built in a lovely, traditional A-frame design that really adds to the romantic atmosphere of a rustic log cabin retreat. Perfect for all the family.
Redwood Lodge Accommodation
Redwood lodge consists of three bedrooms, one ground floor with tein bunks and a first floor double and twin. The cosy bathroom has a bath and shower.
The open-plan living space is large and bright, with a fully equipped kitchen, and dining and living areas.
Guests are able to enjoy the beautiful scenery in the comfort of their own home, as the lodge boasts a stunning veranda, complete with picnic table; perfect for long, leisurely evenings or al fresco dinners.
General amenities include a lovely fitted kitchen, including microwave. TV and DVD facilities, which are great for darker evenings or in case the weather turns.
Bed linen and duvets are included in the rent, and are made up for your arrival. The electricity is provided by a coin metre, and cots are available for £10 per week, with highchairs for £5 per week.
Please note: a maximum of two pets are welcome, and charged at £25 per week.
Redwood lodge surrounding area
Situated on the spectacular North Cornwall/North Devon border, with the breath-taking beaches of Bude and Widemouth just a short drive away, the area is fantastic for families and surfing enthusiast’s coming to experience the famous Cornish waves.
There is also a fantastic array of historic coastal villages to explore, such as Padstow, Port Isaac and Tintagel. The scenery is stunning, and guests of all ages and abilities can wander the South West coastal path and take in the beautiful views.
Further afield, Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor offer a different kind of view entirely, with lots of walking trails and opportunities to explore their rugged splendour. For those wanting to discover the ancient history of the area, the moorland is home to plenty of stone circles and mysterious legends, and St Arthur’s castle at Tintagel is an absolute must.
