Aurora lodge, Aberaeron, West Wales
Aurora lodge is one of six lodges nestled in the beautiful, rolling hills of Wales, within easy reach of the stunning west coast and majestic national parks.
The lodge has been expertly designed, with state of the art facilities and fabulous traditional features, such as exposed beams and a wood burning stove. It combines utmost luxury with the rustic ambience of a log cabin to provide truly special accommodation for a romantic rural retreat.
Reached via its own private road, Aurora is delightfully secluded. Situated in 65 acres of meadows and woodland that guests are welcome to explore, it is an idyllic base for a countryside getaway.
The farm offers an array of leisure facilities, including a well-maintained nature trail that wanders round a variety of breeds of sheep, cows and chickens. There is also an outdoor playground, so the accommodation is fantastic for all the family.
Aurora lodge accommodation
This studio-style lodge is bright and airy, with a sleeping area and cosy living space and traditional wood burning stove. The sleeping area has a double bed and two small bunk beds. The kitchen area is well-equipped and has an electric hob and fridge. The bathroom has a shower and WC.
Large doors lead out onto a shared, enclosed lawn that looks out over the beautiful valley. Guests are invited to enjoy some al fresco dinner or drinks on a balmy summer evening, basking in the picturesque rural scenery.

The lodges are located just 15 minutes from Cardigan Bay. A huge, vibrant stretch of coastline, it has lots of charming little fishing villages and sandy coves to discover. Or head to one of the larger harbour towns for the day. Aberaeron and New Quay both offer a great selection of shops, pubs and excellent restaurants.
There is something for everyone in this rich and varied region. The National Trust property of Llanerchaeron and the medieval remains at Strata Florida Abbey provide some insight into the area’s heritage.
