Description

Belan Bach Lodges, Powys, Mid Wales

The wonderful Belan Bach lodges are located in Llangadfan, Welshpool within the Banwy Valley. With balconies that overlook lawned areas, they provide the ideal getaway for those looking to spend some time in the peace and quiet of the countryside.

However, there is no chance that you will feel isolated or cut off. A local village store and pub are both within 2 miles. The lodges all face south, making the most of the sunshine and even have the added benefit of luxurious hot tubs privately situated outside.

Belan Bach Lodge facilities

At the end of a relaxing day, put your feet up and recline in front of the flat screen TV with DVD. Wi-Fi is also available so you can keep in touch with what is going on even while you are getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Each lodge also has a kitchen which is fully equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer and handy fridge/freezer.

The bathroom has all mod cons with bath or shower and even on cooler days you will be warm and cosy with double glazing and central heating. You have a choice of 4 to 6 bedrooms.

Belan Bach Lodge Surrounding area

In a great location, the lodges are ideally placed to explore the surrounding countryside and towns. If you feel like a day at the beach, Barmouth and Aberdyfi are just an hour’s drive away. Alternatively, if you would rather go and check out the beautiful scenery and many walks, how about a trip to Lake Vyrnwy which has an RSPB centre as well as a mix of watersports.

You will find this 6 miles away and easy to reach by car. Also on your doorstep are the town of Welshpool, the magnificent Powys Castle and King Arthur’s Labyrinth. Of course you must not miss a trip to the Centre for Alternative Technology which has a wonderful water powered railway that the children will love. Of course, don’t forget the towns of Llandrindod Wells with its famous spa or Hay on Wye with its vast variety of bookshops.

Being located in the lush valleys, you will also find an abundance of wildlife including birds such as the Red Kite or even the Peregrine Falcon. If you want to leave the car at home, explore along the many local walks or try cycling around the superb and luscious countryside.
