A great place for both couples and families with children, nearby Stokesley has all that you need including a range of shops, varied restaurants serving a mix of different foods and bars for when you want to sit and relax and savour the atmosphere. Blackwell Lodges facilities

The interiors of all lodges are luxurious with everything catered for. Inside you have a classically designed space, roomy enough for even the most boisterous of families. Outside you have a privately situated hot tub, perfect for early morning wake-ups hitting the coffee or late night relaxes sipping champagne. The flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD/CD will keep everyone entertained on quiet nights and the bathrooms are fully equipped with all that you need. The outside decked area is complete with garden furniture and to complete the ensemble, the lodges all come with double glazing and central heating for chillier days.

Surrounding the lodges you have some of the prettiest countryside with amenities to suit every taste; glorious sandy beaches, walks along the clifftops, seaside resorts with amusements to keep everyone happy and even quaint little villages to explore. Whether your choice is Whitby or Withernsea, the beaches are fantastic from sandy secluded bays to breath-taking and awesome cliffs.

Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington are also within easy reach, as is the city of Hull with its vast aquariums. If you want something a little different, then the Marina at Hartlepool is well worth a trip, as is Fountains Abbey. A most popular visitor attraction is the steam railway which journeys from Whitby to Pickering, or you may wish to delight in the realistic and historical battle re-enactments at Sewerby Hall close by.
