The Bluebell lodge is set in a stunning location. This is really what makes this lodge so special. Situated in an elevated position, it is surrounded by lush green woodland and benefits from a large decked area; a truly tranquil place to stay.

It is a spacious and comfortable log cabin, with plenty of modern amenities and stylish features, including large French doors leading onto the stunning balcony.

Just a short stroll away is spectacular Lake Windermere, with breath taking panoramic views and beautiful walking trails.

Guests are welcome to make use of the luxurious activities and entertainment on site, such as a heated indoor pool and fabulous Jacuzzi.

Peaceful and cosy, the lodge is an idyllic place to stay, relax and luxuriate in this beautiful area, at any time of the year.

Bluebell Lodge Accommodation

All on the ground floor, the lodge consists of three bedrooms with TVs (all with Freeview and Spy Sports 1 and 3): one double with an en suite wet room with shower, basin and WC, one twin and one 2’6” twin. The stylish bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a basin and WC.

The open plan living area is beautifully appointed and spacious, with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Fitted with an electric fire, it is perfect for cosy evenings in when the weather is less than ideal.

Perhaps the best feature of the lodge is the stunning decking to the front. Complete with furniture and a gas BBQ, guests can enjoy plenty of lazy, peaceful hours soaking up the beautiful, tranquil atmosphere.

There is free, shared use of on site leisure facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, gym, play park and multi-use games area, making this a fantastic holiday destination for the whole family.

General amenities include: gas central heating with an electric fire, an electric double oven, a gas hob, microwave, a fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and a dishwasher.

The cabin has four TVs in total, all with Freeview and Sky Sports 1 and 3 and DVD players. There is also an iPod dock and Wi-Fi is available on site.

Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent and a travel cot and highchair are also available.

There is off road parking with space for two cars, as well as lockable bike storage. There is a pub and shop just a three minute walk away. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking.

Please note: Guests must obtain a pass from the site reception in order to gain access to the site and a refundable deposit of £20 is required. No stag/hen parties or similar. There is ramped access to the property and 33” internal doorways, so this lodge is suitable for wheelchair users.

White Cross Bay Holiday Park is large leisure park in a fantastic location. Situated right on the banks of stunning Lake Windermere, it gives access to fantastic outdoor activities. There are peaceful walking and cycling trails through beautiful woodland, rowing, horse riding, and lake cruises from Bowness to Ambleside and on to Lakeside.

The site itself has a restaurant, pub, shop, indoor swimming pool and outdoor play areas.
There are plenty of interesting sites and day trips to discover close by, such as charming Ambleside, with excellent restaurants and cafes, The World of Beatrix Potter in Bowness-on-Windermere or Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre, with its Treetop Trek aerial adventure.
Slightly further afield are the stunning Lakeland Mountains, and the Kirkstone Pass, which wends its way through spectacular landscapes to other lakeside villages, Glenridding and Pooley Bridge, which are well worth a visit.
