The Bridge Lodge accommodation
This quirky property is comprised of one bedroom, but has a variety of sleeping options. Upstairs is a zip/link double under the eaves, that can become a twin room with reduced headroom. There is also a sofabed in the open plan living area. The bathroom is located downstairs and has a bath with a shower over and a WC.
There is a bright, cosy, open plan lounge/dining area, complete with a TV with Freeview, a DVD player and hi-fi. The lodge also has Wi-Fi, so there is plenty of entertainment available for guests no matter what the weather decides to do.
The kitchen is small but well equipped, with great modern appliances, a cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave.
French doors lead out onto the veranda, which has furniture and a BBQ. With such beautiful views over the lake and green trees beyond, it’s a truly incredible spot to unwind and bask in the tranquility of such a lovely place.
There is parking for one car. Bed linen, towels, electricity and electric heating are all included in the rent. Sorry, no smoking. Dogs are welcome, charged at £20 per dog for up to 7 nights, £40 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20 for every week/part week thereafter.

The Bridge Lodge surrounding area
Cornwall is a rich and varied county, most famous for its stunning coastline and spectacular beaches. Talk a walk atop the dramatic cliffs and wonder at the sweeping sands and pounding seas. Discover Cornwall’s exciting smuggling history at one of the many quaint fishing villages with their exquisite, tiny harbours and folktales.
The county is studded with English Heritage sites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and National Trust properties, as well as stunning gardens and attractions, such as Lanhydrock House and Gardens, The Eden Project, numerous National Trust properties and gardens, and the Tate Gallery at St Ives.
It surely goes without saying that surfing is extremely popular, and plenty of the larger beaches will have surf schools, and even boards to hire.
Not just a quirky seaside county, the area also has a good range of popular pubs and award-winning restaurants to enjoy. And of course no trip to Cornwall would be complete without a clotted cream tea!
