The lodge has been expertly designed to provide a romantic, rustic retreat with plenty of luxury. It consists of two bedrooms, one double and one single (with space for a travel cot or another single bed, if required). There is a shower room with WC.

The open plan living area is compact but comfortable. With soft chairs to sink into after a long day’s exploring, and a TV with Freeview and a DVD player for when the weather is less than ideal.

The kitchen area has a hob, micro-convector and a fridge, and there are even fold-out dining facilities.

Bed linen and electricity are included in the rent and there is ample parking available. Sorry, no pets.

The nearest beach is seven miles from the property, and a pub and shop can be found just a mile away.

Guests are invited to make use of the leisure facilities on the farm, such as a game of tennis or the small pitch and putt course.

Cornwall is a rich and varied county, with a vast array of things to see and do that simply cannot be missed. The lodge is ideally located for access to the stunning south coast, with its simply majestic cliffs and beautiful coves. Talk a walk atop the cliffs and wonder at the sweeping sands and pounding seas. Walking enthusiasts will love the moorland, with its picturesque lakes, huge skies and even riding facilities.

Discover the region’s exciting smuggling history at one of the many quaint fishing villages with their tiny harbours and ancient folktales. The county is also studded with English Heritage sites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and National Trust properties.

It surely goes without saying that surfing is extremely popular, and plenty of the other large beaches will have surf schools, and even boards to hire.

This quaint, secluded lodge is really special, and makes a perfect base for exploring spectacular south Cornwall.
