Conifer Lodges Dumfries and Galloway

The Conifer Lodges are a selection of well-appointed log cabins set in a truly stunning location. The lodges are set amongst mature pine woodland and are just a mile outside the historic market town of Newton Stewart.

There is a stunning 18-hole golf course adjoining the park, as well as opportunities for fishing, and beautiful walking and cycling trails right on the doorstep. This is a perfect peaceful location for a rural retreat in a stunning area.

The Conifer Lodges accommodation on offer

All guests have a choice of one, two and three bedroom traditional log cabins. Don’t be fooled by their traditional appearance, they are all of the highest standard and provide plenty of state of the art facilities to ensure that guests have everything they need for their stay.

Every cabin boasts its own beautiful veranda, with garden furniture and a fabulous hot tub. Lovely and secluded, these make a great spot for an early morning coffee or unwinding of an evening with a glass of wine.

For days when the weather may be less than ideal, each lodge also has a TV with a DVD player, as well as a Wi-Fi.

When renting the lodge, included within the price are all bed linen, duvets, towels and electricity. Cots and highchairs are also available but these are charged at £10 per week and £5 per week respectively.

Please note: The total for each party must include babies. All non smoking accommodation.

Pets are welcome, charged at £35 per week each (max 2) (in specific lodges only).

The Conifer Lodges and the surrounding area

The whole area is the perfect destination for those looking for a break in the great outdoors. Take advantage of the superb walking in the unspoiled Galloway Forest Park which is right on the doorstep, plus there are excellent mountain bike trails in Kirroughtree at the Kirroughtree Visitor Centre.

In addition, Galloway Wildlife Conservation Park makes a great day out. Learn about the conservation in the area and the amazing work conducted by the trust, who protect nearly 150 animals.

For golfers, there are lots of courses nearby, including the famous Turnberry, which is less than an hour’s drive away. While keen anglers can enjoy free fishing at Palnure Barn, as well as a variety of sea and coarse fishing if that is your preference.

Slightly further afield there are stunning remote beaches, sandy beaches, sheltered coves, quaint fishing villages and lots of historic monuments and castles to discover.

Finally, after a day out in the fresh air, guests can return to their fantastic lodge. Set in such a beautiful location, there is no better place for an exciting outdoor holiday than at the Conifer Lodges.
