The Crag View lodge is situated at the heart of South Lakeland Leisure Village. This beautiful detached lodge is nestled just a few yards from the edge of the lake, looking out over the peaceful water and the gorgeous green views beyond.

The cabin is luxurious and beautifully finished, with a spacious open plan living area, a lovely cosy sitting area, a dining area and a modern, well-equipped kitchen.

The cabin boasts a large furnished balcony, perfect for sunny morning coffees or long summer nights drinking in the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful, tranquil place.

Guests are also welcome to make use of the fantastic facilities on offer at South Lakeland Leisure Village, such as an indoor swimming pool, steam room and gym.

Crag View Lodge accommodation

All on the ground floor, the lodge consists of two bedrooms: one king-size double with an en-suite bath, with a separate shower, basin and WC, and one twin. There is a separate shower room with a shower, basin and WC.

The spacious, open plan living area has a modern kitchen, dining area and comfortable sitting area.

There is a small lawned area and furnished balcony looking out over the green surroundings.

General amenities include: gas central heating with an electric fire, an electric oven, gas hob, a microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, a DVD player, DAB digital radio and Wi-Fi connection (available at an additional cost, please ask at site reception).

Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, and a cot and highchair are available on request.

There is off road parking with space for two cars. Guests have shared access to the fishing lake on-site. Please note that a license required and you must bring your own equipment.

The nearest shop is two miles away and the nearest pub just a one-minute walk. Sorry, no pets and no smoking.

Please note: an unfenced lake is just 30 metres away so children must be supervised at all times. The cabin is accessed via four small steps leading up to the front door, so care must be taken. There are additional charges for the use of leisure facilities: an individual adult is £5 per day and individual child is £3 per day, a family pass (up to 2 adults and 3 children) is £10 per day, £28 for three days and £60 for a week. Under 4s are free of charge.

The property is available for winter, off-season, last minute and Christmas, making this a fantastic holiday location all year round.

The South Lakeland Leisure Village is a 43-acre site located just a couple of miles from Carnforth, on the border of the Southern Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. A truly stunning part of the country, the area boasts spectacular scenery as well as a rich and fascinating history, dating back as far as the Domesday Book. Kirkby Lonsdale, Kendal, the Lake District National Park and the popular seaside resort of Morecambe are all just a short drive away, and make for lovely, scenic day trips.

Centred around a large, stunning lake, the park is tranquil and pretty.
