The Dartmoor Edge log cabin is set in the grounds of Fingle Glen Golf Hotel, right in the heart of Devon, Dartmoor Lodge is modern and comfortable, offering an extremely pleasant stay in a fantastic location, close to lovely scenery and with lots of activities to enjoy.

Visitors are welcome to make use of the fantastic 5,600-yard golf course with par of 70 for men and 72 for women, there is also a golf academy, driving range, beauty suite and on-site restaurant and bar.

This spacious and well-appointed log cabin provides excellent accommodation, with golf and beautiful rural Devon right on the doorstep.

All on the ground floor, the lodge consists of two bedrooms: one double (can be made twin on request) with an en-suite bath, basin and WC, and one twin (can be made double on request). There is a main shower room with a shower, basin and WC. The open plan living area is spacious and modern, with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

The lodge benefits from a balcony, with seating, that enables guests to relax and unwind all while soaking up the lovely Devonshire views.

General amenities include: electric convector heaters, an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer and dishwasher.

There is a TV with Freeview and a DVD player, as well as a CD player and Wi-Fi connection (by arrangement with owner), so guests will never be stuck for entertainment, no matter what the weather does.

Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, and a cot and highchair are also available.

There is off road parking with space for one car. There is a pub and a village shop just 1.8 miles away. Sorry, no pets and no smoking.

The property is available for winter, off-season and last minute breaks.

Dartmoor Edge surrounding area

Right in the heart of rural Devon, Tedburn St Mary is just three miles from the stunning Dartmoor National Park and 7.5 miles from the historic cathedral city of Exeter. The village is truly stunning, its streets lined with traditional thatched cottages and two traditional pubs to enjoy, one of which dates back to the early 1600s. It also has a well-stocked shop for all your essentials, an 18-hole golf course and a monthly farmers’ market, as well as the Tedburn Fair, held every September.

Nearby is Dartmoor National Park, famous for its ponies. It offers a vast amount of walking trails for all abilities, as well as pony rides and golfing, all with the stunning backdrop. There are also lots of pretty villages in the park that are well worth a visit.

Slightly further afield, the bustling city of Exeter boasts beautiful historic architecture, plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants and cinemas. There are also lots of fantastic places for day trips, such as Crealy Adventure Park, the beaches at Exmouth and Teignmouth and the National Trust properties of Castle Drogo, Killerton House and Lydford Gorge.
