Jaybelle Grange Lodges are a small cluster of lodges situated in a convenient location on the south coast, close to historic Arundel with its magnificent castle, and on the edge of Littlehampton, with its award-winning beach and fabulous riverside development.

With an abundance of beautiful historic sights, excellent shopping opportunities, lovely beaches and the South Downs all within easy reach, this is a fantastic base for a break at any time of year.

Jaybelle Grange Lodges accommodation

Guests can choose between a selection of exceptional two and three bedroom contemporary lodges.

A particular highlight, the lodges all have large verandahs, complete with furniture. Lovely and secluded, these provide an idyllic spot to while away the hours, enjoying some evening drinks and basking in the beautiful surroundings. Some lodges even boast their own, fabulous hot tubs. A real touch of luxury, what better way is there to unwind and relax? (In Oak Lodge and Beech Lodge only.)

General amenities include: flat screen TV with DVD player that ensures guests have plenty of entertainment even on chilly evenings or rainy days.

There is also a well-equipped kitchen including microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer.

Rent includes bed linen, duvets and towels, as well as gas and electricity. Cots and highchairs are also available at £10pw each.

The surrounding area is rich in an incredible array of historical sites to visit. The spectacular castle in Arundel is an absolute must-see, and nearby Amberley Working Museum houses a huge range of exhibits – such as vintage vehicles – that showcase the fascinating history of the local area.

Elsewhere, beautiful Chichester has a vast Roman history. Cycle along Centurion Way between Chichester and West Dean, which crosses an old Roman road and passes sculptures pertaining to local history on the way. While Fishbourne Roman Palace is the remains of one of the largest domestic Roman buildings yet found in Britain. Discover the magnificent mosaic floors, underfloor heating system, corridors and courtyards.

In addition, you cannot miss the world-famous Weald and Downland Open Air Museum. Covering 50 acres, this unique site contains nearly 50 historic buildings that date from the 13th to 19th centuries. As well as large gardens, farm animals, walks and lakes.

Furthermore, for a chance to admire the scale of the beautiful South Downs, head up the Chalk Stones Trail on Cocking Hill, and admire Andy Goldsworthy’s 13 chalk stone sculptures as you follow the route through the heart of the South Downs.

Slight further afield, the vibrant, cosmopolitan city of Brighton boasts an award-winning beach, delightful shops, bustling pier and exciting nightlife.
