The Jemima lodge is set in a stunning location, right on the edge of Duck Lake, in Tattershall Lakes Country Park, Jemima Lodge overlooks the spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Built in a traditional, timber-roller style, designed specifically to make the most of the scenery, the lodge really helps to create the rustic, peaceful atmosphere of a tranquil lakeside retreat.

At the water’s edge can be found a large, covered veranda, complete with furniture and a hot tub. Perfect for whiling away the hours unwinding and gazing at the lovely view.

Tattershall Park itself is fantastic for families, offering plenty of water sports and activities to ensure guests are always entertained, while nearby beaches provide a stunning backdrop for enjoying Lincolnshire’s rural beauty.

Jemima Lodge accommodation

The lodge has three bedrooms: one double with an en-suite shower, basin and WC, and one twin. The main bathroom has a shower, basin and WC.

The open plan living area is large and comfortable, with a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

The lodge benefits from a private veranda to the side of the property, with a table, chairs and hot tub. An ideal place for a long summer evening basking in the stunning surroundings.

General amenities include: LPG central heating with electric heaters, an electric hob and gas oven, a microwave and fridge/freezer.

There is a TV with basic Sky and a DVD player. There is also an iPod dock and Wi-Fi, so guests will never be short on entertainment, whatever the weather.

Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent and a travel cot and highchair are available on request.

There is off road parking with space for three cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. There is an on-site shop and bar/restaurant within a five-minute walk, and a communal, coin-operated washing machine.

NB: There are spiral stairs leading to the first floor, or an optional external staircase. The veranda is unfenced and children should be supervised at all times. No hen/stag parties or similar. There is an RAF base nearby and there may be some related noise. The on-site facilities are available all year round except in January and February. During these months there is a shop in Tattershall village, just a 15-minute walk away.

Tattershall Lakes Park itself offers everything you need to enjoy a relaxing, entertaining family break. Set over an impressive 365 acres there is a vast array of activities to take part in. Discover the wildlife hidden in the woodland and spend some time in the peace and tranquillity of the shady trees, or enjoy a relaxing day using the 18-hole golf course or three coarse fishing lakes. For visitors looking for a bit of an adrenaline rush, there is also 60-acre water skiing and wakeboard lake, a 45-acre jet skiing lake and a cable wakeboard lake. There are also two bars on site, a restaurant, a children’s play area and supermarket.

The surrounding area also provides plenty to see and do. Tattershall Castle is situated very close by, and Belvoir Castle, Burghley House and Belton House are all great places to discover more about the history of the area. Discover the lovely countryside in the nature reserves at Donna Nook and Gibraltar Point. Or perhaps venture into Lincoln to admire its stunning castle and medieval streets, and plenty of quirky shops and traditional pubs.
