Woodlands Hotel and Lake District Pine Log cabins

There are two types of log cabins available at the Woodlands Hotel and Pine Log cabins. The log cabins available are the Swiss style log cabins and the Nordic style log cabins. These Pine lodges are located just six miles from Newby Bridge which itself is located just below Lake Windermere. Lake Windermere is at the heart of the Lake District National Park.

Both of these Lake District pine log cabins are very similar, with an open plan lounge / diner and two bedrooms and a bathroom each. All of the rooms are well furnished and the kitchen has all the usual mod cons necessary for a comfortable self-catering holiday. The equipment included in the kitchen includes a cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. In addition to these the Swiss style lodges also contain a washer / dryer.

There is a spacious living area which leads out to a veranda through double patio doors. The lounge has a TV and radio. Both of the lodges have two bedrooms, one being a master bedroom and the other having two comfortable twin beds.

Both of the lodges have a good sized bathroom with baths and walk in shower cubicles. One special feature of these lodges are the saunas. However, the Nordic style log cabins have a slightly larger sauna than the Swiss style log cabins.

These Lake District pine log cabins are a great base for any family looking to enjoy a relaxing or activity holiday in this beautiful part of the world. Whether you are looking to stroll around the local towns and attractions or climb some of the wonderful peaks in the Lake District a stay at one of these pine lodges is a great base from which the Lake District can be explored.

The rates range from between £75 and £140 per night and this is based on seasonal rates. In addition to this throughout the year there are special offers available on 3 or 4 night stays. There are also special packages available for the festive season and New Year.
