Lakeview No 6, White Cross Bay

The Lakeview No 6 luxury lodge is located on the award-winning White Cross Bay Holiday Park, near Windermere in the Lake District. It is sited close enough to the lake so that the view can be enjoyed from the large, decked balcony at the front of the lodge.

As well as plenty of outdoor furniture to relax on, there is a patio table to enjoy outdoor eating and a barbecue provided. Tucked away down the side of the lodge, there is also a private hot tub.

The holiday park has many on-site facilities and activities that are provided free for the enjoyment of guests, plus large communal areas of grass around the lakeside suitable for playing or picnicking.

Thoughtfully laid out on one level, this lodge has an extremely spacious living area comprising fully-fitted kitchen, lounge area with comfortable sofas and an electric fire, plus a dining table to seat 6.

There are 3 bedrooms – a Master Room with en-suite shower, a second double room and a Twin room, all with Freeview TV, bedding and towels supplied. The lodge is centrally heated throughout and all fuel, electricity and WiFi are included in the rental price.

Lakeview No 6 surrounding area

There is really no need to leave the holiday park at all. It has its own bar featuring live entertainment, a restaurant, heated indoor swimming pool, boat hire and a whole variety of different activity areas, including some for younger children only.

For days out, Lake Windermere is literally on the doorstep, but can also be accessed from Bowness village, just a short drive away where many lakeside activities can be booked, including horse riding, rowing or sightseeing trips around the lake on the resident steamboats.

There is also a ferry service acrosss Lake Windermere to either the traditional village of Ambleside – home to the ‘World of Beatrix Potter’, or to Lakeside which houses one of England’s largest aquariums.
