All on the ground floor, you will find two bedrooms (1 x double and 1 x twin). The bathroom also has a shower and the living area is open plan with a kitchen, dining and lounge area leading to the terrace, complete with barbeque and garden furniture. Solar power provides the hot water and the heating.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the cabin also comes complete with 3 x wall mounted TV/DVDs. You can park up to 2 cars off road and just 3 miles away you will find shops, restaurants and pubs.
Langdale Lodge Surrounding area
Welsh Frankton is midway between Whittington (famous for Dick Whittington, Lord Mayor of London) and Ellesmere which is just 3 miles away. Oswestry is 5 miles distant and Shrewsbury 20 miles. Nearby Ellesmere is a wonderful market town to explore, situated between the meres and the Shropshire/Llangollen Canal.
The local church of St Mary dates back to the 15th Century and the town also has links with Thomas Telford who constructed the canal. You will be spoilt for choice with a plethora of shops, restaurants and pubs plus plenty of entertainment. Fishing can be found locally or you may wish to go sailing or maybe visit Colemere Country Park. Because you are close to the border of both England and Wales, you can venture out towards Chester to see the zoo or explore Ironbridge with its World Heritage Centre.
Ludlow is also close by with some delightful shops and restaurants together with riverside walks. Llangollen completes the offerings with a variety of water sports to suit your taste.
