The lodge’s private decked area looks out over the spectacular scenery of the Rocombe Valley towards Cannington Viaduct, and is an idyllic spot to relax and unwind on a warm evening, soaking up the tranquil atmosphere and admiring the wonderful view.

The lodge is set out in a studio style, with a spacious, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner/sleeping area. One of the best features of the lodge is its traditional wood burner, perfect for keeping warm on chillier evenings it really adds to the romantic atmosphere of the accommodation. There is a separate shower room with a large shower and WC.
General amenities include: electric oven and induction hob, fridge with ice compartment, espresso machine and dishwasher.
The lodge boasts a smart TV (featuring complimentary access to Amazon Prime and Netflix) a wireless Libratone speaker, and free Wi-Fi, so guests will never be short on entertainment, even when the weather is less than ideal.
The outside area is complete with furniture and a BBQ, great for long summer evenings or sunny mornings.
Bed linen, towels, electricity and the central heating are all included in the rent, and there is off-road parking for two cars. No pets and no smoking.
Please note: no children under 12 years, please. The property is accessed via a flight of external steps from the parking area.

Dorset is a truly spectacular region, with its incredible Jurassic Coastline and world famous natural wonders, such as Durdle Door, Old Harry Rocks, the Isle of Purbeck and Portland Bill.
The county is renowned for its sandstone cliffs and fossils, and geology enthusiasts can spend many blissful hours wandering the stunning beaches in search of their own fossils.
Lyme Regis is a bustling, vibrant town with a beautiful harbour and plenty of shops, cafes and a buzzing nightlife. Nearby Poole also makes a great day trip, with its large natural harbour (the second largest in the world behind Sydney). Visitors must make a trip to Brownsea Island, located in Poole harbour itself, where it’s possible to discover an abundance of rare wildlife, such as red squirrels, kingfishers and oystercatchers. For a more adrenaline-fuelled day, there are plenty of water sports, fishing and boat trips to enjoy.
The area is a favourite with walking enthusiasts. Christchurch is located on the 34 mile long Avon Valley Path, and there are loads of walks and cycling trails, even guided tours that you through the Priory Church and Highcliffe Castle.
