The log cabin is situated just outside the lovely rural village of Adforton It is welcoming and comfortable, offering the rustic ambience of a traditional log cabin combined with state of the art technology and features to make it a fantastic place for a romantic retreat or a small family holiday.

Surrounded by the beautiful Shropshire countryside, with lots of lovely walks and cycling trails just on the doorstep, as well as plenty of historic sites to discover, this is a great place for all the family to enjoy, at any time of year.

The Log Cabin Accommodation

All on the ground floor, the lodge consists of one large double bedroom with an en-suite shower, basin and WC, and an open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with sofa bed for extra guests, if needed.

General amenities include: wall panel electric heaters, a gas hob, combination microwave with oven and grill, a fridge, the use of the owner’s freezer in the garage, a flat screen TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi and a small library of books.

Bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and the owners provide the first £5 of electricity, after which it is charged via a £1 coin meter.

There is off road parking with space for two cars, bike storage and even an electric car charging point.

The lodge has a lovely, small side garden, complete with furniture, perfect for long summer evenings basking in the tranquil atmosphere.

There are shops and pubs just two miles away. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Please note: this cabin is suitable for two adults and two children under the age of 12.

The property also offers the following short breaks: winter, off-season, last minute and Christmas, making it a great place for a break all year round.

Adforton is a charming rural village, nestled in the rolling hills of Shropshire, brilliantly located between the beautiful, historic towns of Ludlow and Leominster, with their lovely architecture.

The immediate area around the lodge is beautiful, offering an abundance of walking and cycling trails and plenty of wildlife to discover. There are also plenty of unmissable historic sites to enjoy, such as Acton Scott Historic Working Farm, the Severn Valley Steam Railway, Stokesay Castle, delightful Church Stretton, known as Little Switzerland, Shrewsbury, Wroxeter Roman City and the spectacular Ironbridge Gorge, with its famous ten museums.
