Maples lodge, Narberth, Pembrokeshire
The secluded Maples Lodge is surrounded by water and woodland and has earned a 5-Star rating from the Welsh Tourist Board.
The Maples lodge offers views of its typically Welsh surroundings from all sides. On one side of the lodge, the land drops sharply away into a valley, overlooking the nearby lake and adjacent Golf Course. On the opposite side there is a large shared area of lawns and woodland to explore, where local flora and fauna is in abundance.
What could be better than spending a warm evening on the verandah, or even in the hot tub, watching golfers, fishermen and the local wildlife!
The nearest town is Narberth, just 1 mile away. Despite its small population of 2,150, this little town has a big history, with plenty to see, including the castle ruins, museum, numerous unique shops and a selection of quaint pubs, many serving food.
The Maples lodge Facilities
The Maples lodge is exceptionally well-equipped and furnished. All bed linen, towels, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are provided free of charge. There is even a selection of DVD’s, Board Games and Books – ideal for a cosy night in!
The accommodation is all contained on one floor and is suitable for 4 Adults. There are 2 bedrooms (1, Double, 1 Twin), Bathroom, Utility Room and a large, open plan Living area comprising the Kitchen, Dining area and Lounge.
Outside there is decking around the perimeter of the lodge with comfortable outdoor furniture and a private Hot Tub. Beyond that there is a large shared area of lawns and woodland to explore. Use of the adjacent Golf Course is available with a 50% reduction to residents at The Maples.
Two off-road car spaces are provided, as well as a storage space suitable for bikes or other outdoor equipment. Utilities (LPG and Electricity) as well as WiFi are all included in the weekly rental cost.
NB. The Maples is a ‘No Smoking’ property and is unable to accept pets, or children under 12 years old.
The Maples lodge Surrounding Area
Just 10 miles away is the well-know tourist town of Tenby. This a place that can offer any visitor a great day out whether they prefer a more sedate time visiting galleries and live craft demonstrations or wish to opt for more energetic activities such as beach riding or a laser battlefield experience.
A little farther afield are the coastal towns of Haverfordwest and Saundersfoot, both well worth a day out. For walkers, the Preseli Hills, a miniature version of the Brecon Beacons, will be sure to tempt!
