Guests can choose from a selection of sumptuous one, two and three bedroomed lodges, which have all been designed to really make the most of their lovely surroundings. A particular highlight, they have lovely verandahs – complete with garden furniture – that look out over the picturesque scenery. Some deluxe lodges even boast their own hot tubs. What better way to unwind with a drink on a balmy evening, or even enjoy a spot of stargazing on a clear night? (In Grosmont, Newton Dale, Goathland, Pickering, Levisham Rosedale, Helmsley and Thurton lodges only).

General amenities include a flat screen TV with Freeview as well as a DVD player.

Rent includes bed linen, duvets and towels, in addition to gas and electricity. Cots and highchairs are also available for £10pw each (max 1) (in specific lodges only).

Quaint Pickering – the gateway to the North York Moors – is extremely close by, and provides plenty of tourist amenities, shops, cafes and excellent pubs. While the North York Moors National Park provides hundreds of walking and cycling trails through spectacular, heather covered hills, lush valleys, meandering rivers and abundant wildlife.

Of course, a priority destination for any guest should be historic York. A beautiful, elegant city, it boasts an incredible array of fine architecture and fascinating history. Wander around the city walls, ancient gates and glorious Minster – England’s largest Gothic church. While the award-winning Jorvik Viking Museum gives valuable insight into the heritage of the local area. In addition, there are lots of bustling shops, cafes, pubs and excellent restaurants to enjoy. Alternatively, the eternally popular coastal resorts of Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and Robin Hood’s Bay are easily accessible.
