Raywell Hall Country Lodges are a lovely collection of log cabins situated in the grand, landscaped grounds of an elegant country manor. Within easy reach of the Yorkshire Wolds Way, this award-winning destination is ideal for a romantic escape or an exciting outdoor adventure for the whole family.

Part of an exciting new development, these fabulous lodges have been designed with the utmost luxury in mind. Spacious and bright, they have all been fitted with fantastic facilities and comfortable touches to ensure that you want for nothing. Relax and unwind in your hot tub as you soak up the tranquil atmosphere and lovely parkland views.

There is also a convenience store available on the park for all dates.

Choose from a selection of excellent one, two and three bedroom luxury lodges. Every one boasts its own verandah with garden furniture and hot tub. Perfect for whiling away the hours admiring the view, or even enjoying a spot of stargazing on a clear night. Barbecue hire is also available for those wishing to make an evening of it.

General amenities include: flat screen TV with Freeview/DVD player, as well as a Wi-Fi connection. There is also kitchen including microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

Rent includes bed linen, duvets and towels, in addition to gas and electricity. While travel cots and highchairs are available for £10pw each.

Please note: Early 1.30pm check in/late 12.00pm check out – £25. No pets. All non smoking accommodation.

The surrounding area is rich in picturesque woodland walks, cycle routes and bustling market towns. The Yorkshire Wolds way provides a spectacular route through 79 miles of outstanding natural beauty and tranquil scenery. It leads from the banks of the Humber estuary through lush green valleys, lovely woodland and lots of picturesque rural villages offering plenty of cafes and sources of refreshment.

For a touch of history, Wilberforce House – the birthplace of the pioneering slavery abolitionist – is very close by. The oldest anti-slavery museum in the world, it presents fascinating exhibits, period costumes and furniture. Beverley Minster is also well worth a visit. Considered the most impressive place of worship in England without cathedral status, it took 200 years to build. Meanwhile, Beverley Saturday Market has been in existence for over 800 years, and boasts a huge variety of eclectic stalls, all with views of Beverley Minster and St Mary’s church.

Of course, a priority destination for any guest should be historic York. A beautiful, elegant city, it boasts an incredible array of fine architecture and fascinating history. Wander around the city walls, ancient gates and glorious Minster – England’s largest Gothic church. In addition, the award-winning Jorvik Viking Museum gives valuable insight into the heritage of the local area. And there are lots of bustling shops, cafes, pubs and excellent restaurants to enjoy.
