Rosebay lodge, Bude, North Cornwall

Rosebay lodge is one of four, secluded lodges nestled in the heart of the Cornish countryside by a lovely, tranquil river. All the lodges are private and south facing. Every one has stunning, uninterrupted views of the fields towards the river. Lovingly decorated, the Scandanavian-style lodges offer comfortable, welcoming accommodation with all the rustic ambience of a traditional log cabin.

There are two coarse fishing ponds on site that are well stocked with roach, bream and carp. With plenty of beautiful walking trails right on the doorstep, and peaceful, private accommodation to enjoy, the lodges are an idyllic location for a romantic countryside getaway.

Rosebay lodge accommodation

Rosebay is comprised of one double bedroom, a shower room with WC and an open plan living area. The living space is bright and comfortable, with a TV with Freeview, a DVD and CD player, perfect for curling up when the whether is less than ideal.

Guests can enjoy the lovely surroundings from the privacy of their own lodge. Each property boasts a balcony, which makes a perfect spot for an alfresco cocktail or two, or a coffee in the sun as you plan the day’s activities.

General amenities include: a gas cooker, a microwave and fridge with ice-compartment. There is a shared utility room on site, with a coin-operated washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Each lodge also has its own, ample parking.

All bed linen, Wi-Fi, electricity and central heating are included in the rent.

No smoking, and no pets, please.

Rosebay lodge surrounding area

The surrounding area is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, and has an incredible variety of birds and wildflowers to discover. Cornwall is a rich and varied county, most famous for its dramatic coastline and spectacular beaches. North Cornwall in particular is a favourite destination for surfers, with long, sweeping sands and beautiful cliffs. If surfing isn’t really your thing, then there are lots of stunning little coves to discover, and simply sit, marvelling at the scenery and pounding seas.

Discover Cornwall’s exciting smuggling history at one of the many quaint fishing villages with their exquisite, tiny harbours and folktales. The area is awash with English Heritage sites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and numerous National Trust Properties, including The Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Tamar Lakes and the world-famous Eden Project.

Not just a quirky seaside county, the area also has an excellent selection of popular pubs and award-winning restaurants to enjoy. And of course no trip to Cornwall would be complete without a clotted cream tea!
