Rowan Lodge accommodation
All on the ground floor, the lodge consists of two bedrooms: one double and one twin. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a basin and WC.
The open plan living space is cosy and welcoming, with a kitchen, dining area and comfy sitting area, perfect for relaxing on chillier evenings or when the weather is less than ideal.
French doors lead out to a furnished patio, where guests can while away the hours taking in the peaceful surroundings.
General amenities include: gas central heating, an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, freezer and a washing machine.
There is a TV with Freeview and a DVD player, as well as Wi-Fi and a great selection of books, games and DVDs, ensuring guests are never short on entertainment.
Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.
The nearest shop and pub are just a mile away.
There is plenty of off road parking. Two well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking.
Please note: although the lodge is all on the ground floor, there are two steps leading to the front door and five steps up to the decking and rear entrance, so care must be taken, and it may not be suitable for less able guests.

Strathpeffer is a picturesque spa village, famous for its springs and pure water. It is a lively place, with a rich and fascinating history. Much of its historic sites have been beautifully restored. The stunning Spa Pavilion now hosts a variety of community events such as concerts, dances, dramas and exhibitions, and the wonderful Victorian railway station is a bustling craft market and home of the Highland Museum of Childhood. The ancient hillfort at nearby Knockfarrel is an absolute must-see, offering visitors a fascinating look into the area’s intriguing heritage.
There is so much to see and do in this spectacular, unspoilt region. The area surrounding the lodge offers a vast array of walking and cycling trails for all abilities, while Loch Kinellan is fantastic for discovering local wildlife, and possible spotting some rare birds. Slightly further afield, Castle Leod, the oldest intact castle in Britain, and of course world-famous Loch Ness, make for unforgettable day-trips.
