Sapphire Lodge, near Cardigan Bay, Mid Wales

Sapphire lodge is one of six beautiful lodges nestled in the rolling green hills of mid-Wales.
The lodges have all been expertly converted from old farm buildings to provide luxurious, modern accommodation with plenty of traditional charm. The lodges are set in 65 acres of picturesque farmland and woodland, which guests are invited to explore to their hearts’ content.

Situated within easy reach of the spectacular coast and dramatic scenery of the Welsh national parks, the lodge makes an idyllic, cosy location for a romantic retreat.

This quaint lodge is set in a studio style, and boasts outstanding panoramic views over the stunning nearby countryside.

The open plan living space contains a cosy lounge, dining area, kitchen and comfortable sleeping area, as well as lovely traditional features such as a wood burning stove. The sleeping area has a double bed and built in bunk beds, so the lodge is ideal for a family break. There is a separate shower room with shower and WC.

Outside there is a pretty shared lawned area with superb views across the valley. An ideal spot for a sunny morning coffee or long warm summer evening spent enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

General amenities include: electric hob and oven and fridge. There is ample off-road parking available. Bed linen, electricity, Wi-Fi and central heating are all included in the rent. All properties are non-smoking.

One dog is welcome (charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter).

The nearest beach is a few miles, and shops and pubs are just four miles away. There is also a small shop located onsite selling gifts and fresh seasonal produce from the farm.

Please note: dogs must be kept on leads due to sheep in the adjacent field, however dogs are allowed off leads in the woodland area. Short breaks are charged at 3 nights 60%, 4 nights 70% and 5 nights 80% of the full weekly cost.

These lovely lodges are conveniently located just 15 minutes from Cardigan Bay, with its sweeping sandy beaches and fishing villages and picturesque harbour towns to discover.

Both Aberaeron and New Quay offer plenty of bustling shops, restaurants and pubs, and there is an abundance of events and sights for the whole family to enjoy. Discover the medieval ruins at Strata Florida or enjoy the various activities at Fantasy Farm Park and Borth Animalarium

Wales itself is a truly stunning country, with spectacular mountain ranges, majestic rivers and a rich history. A haven for walking and outdoors enthusiasts, there is a vast array of walking trails right on the doorstep. The dramatic west Wales coast is within easy reach of Sapphire Lodge, and offers incredible views with walks for all abilities.
