St Hildas log cabin is situated on a livestock farm in the picturesque village of Hinderwell, St Hilda’s Log cabin is a bright, spacious cabin, with impressive decking that runs all the way around it so guests can make the very most of the lovely surroundings. It is a comfortable, stylish cottage, with a luxurious design and hot tub for maximum relaxation.

The cabin is a lovely little rustic hideaway and a great place for families who can make full use of the farm’s facilities, whether it’s collecting their own eggs for breakfast or petting the llamas. A fantastic way to enjoy a peaceful retreat in the stunning Yorkshire countryside.

St Hildas log cabin accommodation

The property is all on the ground floor and has two bedrooms. The first is a double room with en-suite shower, basic and WC. The room also boasts patio doors leading directly to the decking, so guests can make the most of the wonderful view.

The second bedroom is a twin, and the bathroom has a corner bath, basic and WC. The living area is open plan, with a fitted kitchen, dining space, sitting space and an electric fire.

The deck has both furniture and a BBQ, which is a great way to enjoy the lovely surroundings. The hot tub is available by arrangement, at £70 per week or £50 per short break, payable directly to the owner.

The cottage is equipped with state of the art appliances, to ensure guests have a convenient, comfortable stay. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and a dishwasher. There is a TV with Freeview, DVD, and radio/CD settings.

Electricity is charged via card meter: the first £5 is included and further £5 cards are available to purchase from the owner.

Bed linen and towels are included in rent, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request.
There is off road parking for 2 cars.

One well-behaved dog is welcome. Sorry, no smoking. NB: The cottage is situated on a small, quiet caravan site.

Hinderwell itself is pretty and lively, with shops, pubs and an excellent bistro, while the sea is only 10 minutes away on foot.

For a true sense of traditional Yorkshire head to the lovely, quaint fishing villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay, with their fascinating history, beautiful cobbled streets and secret alleyways and chocolate box harbours.
Or perhaps take in the stunning scenery with a cliff top walk or a drive through the North York Moors National Park.

Meanwhile, if you’re feeling more adventurous, there are lots of activities on offer such as walking, riding, fishing, cycling and gliding.

St Hilda’s Log cabin is a relaxing, comfortable retreat, perfect for exploring the local countryside, dramatic cliffs and rolling dales of Yorkshire.
