Surrey Lodge accommodation

All on the ground floor, the lodge consists of two bedrooms: one double with an en-suite shower, basin and WC, and one twin. The main bathroom has a bath, a basin and WC.

The open plan living area is bright and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable sitting area with a sofa bed.

The stunning decked balcony is complete with furniture, and a luxurious hot tub, perfect for whiling away long summer evenings soaking up the lovely, peaceful atmosphere.

There are also shared open grassed areas to the side of the lodge, as well as a shared children’s play area.

General amenities include: LPG central heating, a gas oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

There is a TV with Freeview, a DVD player and fantastic selection of books, games and DVDs, ensuring that guests are never short on entertainment, even if the weather isn’t ideal.

Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent and a cot and highchair are available on request.

There is ample off road parking and bike storage available by arrangement.

The nearest shops and pubs are just over two miles away.

Please note: the lodge is accessed via three steps leading up to the balcony and the entrance, so care must be taken, and it may not be suitable for those less able. There is an unfenced water feature in the park so children and pets must be supervised at all times.

Visitors can enjoy a plethora of beautiful walking and cycling trails right on the doorstep of their lodge, which has access directly into the lovely surrounding countryside.

Pretty Scorton is just over two miles away, and has a convenience store and pubs. Also close by is the charming, historic town of Richmond, with its picturesque cobbled streets and ancient alleys, or ‘wynds’, that date back almost nine centuries. The town revolves around the beautiful Market Place, which hosts a weekly market and monthly farmers’ market. There are also plenty of shops, pubs and excellent restaurants to enjoy.

The nearby market town of Northallerton is also worth visiting, with famous Betty’s tearoom, Barkers department store and Lewis & Coopers Food Emporium.
