The Cabin in the trees, Edefors väg, Sweden

This log cabin or ‘The Cabin’ as its aptly named is no ordinary log cabin. It is nestled above the ground in the trees in Edefors väg, Sweden.

The concept behind this log cabin is based upon the idea of having the accommodation on the steep hillside, which allows it to look over the Lule River valley. ‘The Cabin’ is accessed via a bridge which is among the trees. There is a large wooden decked area at the front of the bridge and the cabin itself hangs under the decked area.

Nestled in the trees this cabin gives its visitors a fantastic view and a different holiday experience. The accommodation caters for two people and has a double bed, a bathroom and a terrace.Inside the treehouse has a modern feel with contemporary and comfortable decor and furniture.

There are a variety or summer and winter activities available during your stay but many just enjoy the tranquil and quiet nature of the setting.

On arrival to the tree hotel guests can enjoy Brittas Pensionat where the hosts Kent and Britta in a 1930’s – 1950’s setting. If you prefer to enjoy the privacy of your own room, meals can be delivered to your room.
