The Keepers Lodge is charming, traditional log cabin, nestled in the quaint, rural hamlet of Boduan, close to the owners’ 4000-acre game-shooting estate. It is just 2.5 miles from the coast and seaside village of Morfa Nefyn on the Llyn Peninsula.

This impressive lodge is wood panelled in true log cabin style, with spacious, modern design that accommodates the whole family. French doors lead out into a lovely garden that looks out over stunning green country views and a huge conservatory is a delightful suntrap, where guests can relax and take in the pretty scenery.

With plenty of beautiful walking trails leading straight from the lodge doorstep, The Keepers Lodge Cabin place or a group of friends or the whole family to enjoy a peaceful, rural retreat, or an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding countryside.

The Keepers Lodge accommodation

Set over two floors, the cabin boasts eight bedrooms.

Ground floor: one family room with a king sized double bed and an extra single bed, an en-suite shower, basin and WC, two king-sized doubles, one single with a pull-out single bed and one double.

First floor: one low-level eaves mezzanine double, one eaves children’s room with a king-sized double bed and a single bed with extra pull out bed (single) and one eaves family room with a double and single bed.

The main bathroom is on the ground floor and has a bath with a shower over, a basin and WC and there are a further two ground floor shower rooms with shower, basin and WC in each.

The lodge benefits from a stunning conservatory with kitchen and sitting area, a large dining room which also has comfy seating and makes a perfect place for the whole group to socialise and a cosy snug complete with open fire.

There is a lovely patio and lawn with furniture, a BBQ, fire pit and a fabulous hot tub, perfect for hot summer days in the sun or long summer evenings taking in the peaceful scenery.

General amenities include: electric central heating and an open fire, an electric oven and hob, a microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.

The lodge has two TVs, both with Freeview and DVD players. There is also Wi-Fi and a great selection of books, games and DVDs, providing plenty of entertainment for all the guests no matter what the weather is doing.

Fuel, power, fuel for the fire, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, and a cot, highchair and stair gate are available on request.

There is plenty of off road parking with space for up to eight cars.

Use of clay and rifle shooting facilities is available, payable locally.

One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking.

The nearest shop is 2.5 miles away, and the pub just 2 miles.

Please note: Access partly along an unadopted lane. Due to the property being in a remote country location, Wi-Fi is subject to availability. Check-in is at 4pm.

The property also offers the following short breaks: winter, off-season, last-minute and Christmas, making it a perfect retreat all year round.

The Keepers Lodge surrounding area

The nearby village of Morfa Nefyn is very pretty; sitting on top of majestic cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, it boasts a beautiful, two-mile stretch of sandy beach, which makes it very popular with families. The village has a Post Office, a wonderful shop with a cafe, and a pub/restaurant. The larger town of Nefyn is just a short drive away, and has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.

The Llyn Peninsula is itself renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The coastline around this region is truly lovely, with lots of historic sites to discover; impressive castles, secret coves, long, sandy beaches and stunning cliff-top walks make for fantastic day trips. Plenty of activities, such as fishing, sailing and water sports are all available.

Also within easy reach is the dramatic scenery of Snowdonia National Park, Portmeirion and the Isle of Anglesey.

Set in such a convenient and stunning location, this fantastic lodge is an ideal base for a break in this picturesque region.
