Willow Lodge, Boyton, Cornwall

Willow Lodge is one of two charming, comfortable log cabins nestled in the owner’s pretty, tranquil smallholding.

The lodge benefits from its fantastic location, it is ideally situated close to plenty of the stunning sights and spectacular coast of North Cornwall and Devon. It also has a private patio that looks out over a beautiful lake and the green views beyond. A really wonderful spot to unwind and soak up the lovely surroundings, and perhaps partake in a little wildlife spotting.

The lodge is exceptionally welcoming and has been lovingly designed to combine the rustic ambience of a traditional log cabin with state of the art amenities to provide a peaceful, relaxing retreat for the whole family.

Willow Lodge accommodation

All on the ground floor, the lodge consists of three bedrooms: one double, one twin, and one room with children’s bunks. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a WC and basin.

The open plan living area is cosy and comfortable, with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

General amenities include: gas central heating, a gas oven and hob, a microwave and fridge.
Guests will enjoy the private, furnished patio, which is great for an al fresco dinner on a warm summer evening, basking in the serene surroundings.

There is also a TV with Freeview and a DVD player, so guests will have plenty to entertain them, no matter what the weather is doing.

Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Guests are welcoming to enjoy the free fishing available in the on sight late (licence required, available locally).

There is an on-site shop just one minute’s walk away, and the nearest pub is five miles down the road.

There is off road parking with space for two cars.

Willow Lodge surrounding area

Whitstone is a picturesque Cornish village close to Launceston and the famous seaside resort of Bude. Despite its small size and rural nature, it does have a convenient, well-stocked village shop.

Just a short drive away is the magnificent beach at Widemouth Bay, with lots of secret inlets and coves to discover. For a more traditional day at a British seaside resort, visitors should head to Bude, with its spectacular beaches and fantastic surfing. The lively town also offers lots in the way of rainy day activities, with an indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area and a great selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

There are plenty of pretty historic sites to discover in the area, such as the impressive 13th century castle and famous steam railway at Launceston, as well as plenty of charming harbour towns that are ideal for wandering around, admiring the quaint Cornish cottages.

This cosy lodge is a lovely place to visit, and makes an ideal base for exploring the stunning north Cornish coast.
