Willow River lodge is one of ten stunning lodges situated in this lovely, peaceful park on the banks of the River Clun.
Willow River Lodge has been exquisitely designed and finished, to provide bright, luxurious accommodation in this picturesque place. The lodge benefits from plenty of traditional features, such as wood panelling and a classic woodburning stove.
Large French windows lead out onto raised decking that looks over the lovely rural surroundings, and the peaceful river, perfect for sunny morning coffees or leisurely summer evenings, basking in the beautiful tranquillity of the scenery and watching the local wildlife.
Cosy and luxurious, the lodge is an idyllic place for a romantic retreat or a peaceful family holiday.
Willow River Lodge accommodation
All on the ground floor, the lodge consists of two bedrooms: one double with direct access to the bathroom, and one twin. The bathroom has a bath, a separate shower, a basin and WC.
The open plan living area is stunning. Bright and spacious, it has a modern kitchen, dining area and cosy sitting area. The traditional woodburner provides a great place where guests can relax and unwind no matter what the weather is doing.
French doors lead to a large, furnished decking area, ideal for morning coffees in the sun or drinks on warm summer evenings.
General amenities include: gas central heating with a woodburner, an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine (in a shared, separate location), and dishwasher.
The lodge is equipped with a TV with Freeview and a DVD player, an iPod dock, Wi-Fi, and a great selection of books, games and DVDs, so guests will ever be short on entertainment.
Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Fuel for the stove is available to purchase locally.
There is off road parking with space for two cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking.
The nearest shop is 2.5 miles away, and a pub just a 10-minute walk.
Please note: there are 4 steps leading to the cabin entrance, so care must be taken, and the lodge may not be suitable for those guests who are less able.
The lodge has direct access to the River Clun, on which the owner has fishing rights, guests must obtain their own rod licence. Due to the nearby fast-flowing river, children must be supervised at all times.

Clun is a charming, rural village nestled deep in the tranquil hills of South Shropshire. It boasts many historic sites, such as a Saxon church, a 14th Century pack horse bridge and the majestic ruins of a castle dating back to Norman times.
Situated on the Shropshire Way, it is surrounded by beautiful, green countryside, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visitors can enjoy one of the countless walking or cycling trails, taking in the stunning, peaceful scenery and discovering the abundant local wildlife.
The area as steeped in ancient history and has many fascinating historic sites to discover, such as Bury Ditches the Iron Age earthwork fort at Bury Ditches
There is also plenty of local entertainment to take part in, all year round, including the world famous Green Man in Hay-on-Wye festival in May. Or take a day trip to one of the many surrounding historic towns, like Hereford, Ludlow or Shrewsbury, with their impressive architecture, pretty streets and plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy.
