Located near to Thenon which is a small market town and Montgnac which is at the heart of the wonderful Perigord Noir area of the Dordogne. The Dordogne is in southwestern France between the Loire Valley and the Pyrenees and takes its name from the river that runs through it.

The eco-friendly cabin is nestled within four acres of its very own natural woodland and provides a great base for exploring the local area. Thenon can be reached on foot within 50 minutes. The town is surrounded by rolling hills and forests. If you venture into Thenon make sure you visit the tree top climbing forest, the swimming lake and lakeside bar with free live music, the Tuesday morning market is also on. Also as far as local attractions visitors may like to visit Chateaux Hautefort, Lascaux Caves and canoeing on the Dordogne.

Accommodation at the Woodland cabin in Dordogne, France

This eco-friendly cabin caters comfortably for up to four adults. The accommodation consists of an open plan living area, kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom. The double bedroom has an extra overhead bunk. The open plan living area has a sofa bed, wood-burner, dining table and the kitchen is located in the corner of the room. There is also a shower room with walk in shower cubicle, w.c and basin.

The kitchen comes equipped and has all the necessary cutlery and crockery required for eating. There is a range of toys, books and dvds and a socket for a laptop of phone charger.

This eco-friendly accommodation is simple and sweet and enjoys lots of peace and quiet witin its own woodland.
