This woodland cabin is located near Dalavich in Argyll. The cabin is around 250 yards from the shores of Loch Awe. The woodland cabin is a self catering log cabin, has a secluded plot in a stunning location and provides everyone of its guests with what you could call a true log cabin holiday. The splendid features of the cabin include, vaulted ceilings, raised veranda and a wood burning stove. So, whether you are looking for to explore Argyll and the west coast, enjoy the local area or just simply relax then a stay at the woodland cabin provides the perfect location in which to do so.

This unique location was created by the forestry commission as a place of tranquillity, amid outstanding scenery. In addition to the peace and quiet of the log cabin locations the surrounding area provides an amazing natural playground with forests, burns, rivers, castles, mountains and lochs to explore and enjoy. The area has a proliferation of walks, cycle routes and local attractions, has an abundance of wildlife and is a world renowned destination for anglers

The Woodland Cabin Accommodation consists of:

Lounge / dining area with vaulted ceiling, Satellite TV, DVD, Hi Fi (via TV and DVD), double sofa bed, easy chairs, dining table for six and a lovely wood burning stove. WiFi * is available (at extra cost) and should be booked in advance if required. The front elevation is mainly glazed, to maximize the views, with French windows opening onto a raised veranda area. The kitchen area is well equipped, with cooker, fridge (freezer compartment), microwave, toaster, kettle and all necessary utensils, crockery and cutlery.

Shower room is tastefully finished and has electric shower, wash basin, toilet and shaver point.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed, built in wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side cabinet. Bedroom 2 has triple bunk beds (double + single over), wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side cabinet. Top bunk suitable for children under 16 only.

Outside there is parking for 2 cars, garden furniture, a BBQ / fire pit area and ample grounds. The cabin provides privacy and is close to a large open meadow on which children can play safely.

The cabin is timber lined throughout, double glazed, highly insulated, well heated and suitable for year round use. It provides a balance of luxury and comfort while maintaining the character, charm and feel of a true log cabin in a quiet woodland location.

All electricity and linen (not towels) are included within quoted prices. These are non smoking cabins.
