Yew Tree log cabin Surrounding Area

Immediately outside this cabin, local wildlife can easily be spotted from the balcony in quiet moments. Footpaths leading to large open areas or Lake Windermere can be accessed a very short distance away, as well as the numerous open spaces available for guests to enjoy in their own way.

Although there is no need to move away from the holiday park, there are many things to see and enjoy in the surrounding area as well, without having to travel too far.

The obvious choices will be exploration of the Lake Windermere shores and the Lake District National Park surrounding it, but there are also many opportunities to visit places unique to this area like the town of Kendal – world famous for its Kendal Mint Cake, but also for pipe tobacco and snuff!
