The highest mountain in Scotland is situated in the Scottish Highlands and is called Ben Nevis. Which reaches a total of 1344 metres (4409 feet) and is the highest in the UK.
Scotland has a total of approximately 790 islands off its coast and 130 of them are inhabited.
