Loch Garten at Inverness-shire is an ancient pine forest where rare ospreys are protected whilst they raise their young and where members of the public can see them at certain times of the year.

You can observe dolphins, otters and seals from on-shore or from a boat and you can even go whale-watching aboard a Hebridean cruise. What better way to enjoy these wonderful treats than from your own Scotland log cabins where you can holiday amidst the glorious Scottish countryside?

At nearby Inverary, on Loch Fyne, you can sit inside a restored courtroom attached to a 19th century prison, where you can listen enraptured to excerpts of genuine trials which took place during the 1820s with staff acting the parts of warders and inmates dressed in authentic period costume. You could top the day off with a visit to one of Scotland’s grandest stately houses; Inverary Castle.
