Magnolia Camelias lodge is one of five lovely lodges that are situated in the fantastic grounds of a magnificent Georgian mansion.

The lodge gets its name from the camelias that surround it. Not only beautiful, they also ensure that the property is perfectly secluded.

Located in the heart of Devon the lodges are within easy reach of the county’s many spectacular sights. Due to the plentiful, picturesque walking trails right on the doorstep, the lodges make an ideal base for a peaceful rural retreat spent discovering this stunning area.

Magnolia Camelias has two bedrooms: one king-size, with a fabulous four-poster bed, and one single. The bathroom has a bath, a separate walk-in shower and a WC.

The large lounge has comfortable seating, perfect for curling up in on chillier evenings. Furthermore, the flatscreen TV, Freeview, a DVD player and hi-fi ensure that guests have plenty to keep them entertained, whatever the weather.

The living room leads into a spacious conservatory and private patio. Both spaces are wonderfully sunny, enabling guests to relax and admire the beautiful views at any time of year.

General amenities include: a range cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. There is a utility room with a washing machine and freezer. Ben linen, towels and electricity are all included in the rent.

The nearest beach and shops are four miles away, and the nearest pub is three miles.

Regretfully, guests are asked not to smoke in the property.

The lodge is in a perfect location for discovering this lovely region. Not only are there charming walking trails right on the doorstep, it is also within easy reach of Devon’s famous sights. Just four miles away guests can find some spectacular beaches, as well as Teignmouth, Exmouth and Torbay.

Wildlife enthusiasts will love the wild bird sanctuary and reserve at Dawlish Warren, or rugged Dartmoor, with its ponies, birds and dramatic views.

The cathedral city of Exeter is an easy drive away, and boasts beautiful, historic streets to wander around. It also offers an array of shops, bars, and excellent restaurants for quests who are looking for some vibrant nightlife. Close by, there are other attractions to suit all tastes, as well as numerous National Trust properties and gardens.

Finally, after a busy day discovering the wonders of Devon, guests can return to the comfort of their lodge, unwind with a glass of wine on the patio, and revel in the lovely views.
